5000+ Posts

Hyper,

Congratulations on surpassing 5000 posts. (I missed the big event.) When I first joined this forum, I especially appreciated your expertise regarding VN750 technical issues and advice / travel tips. One of your recent posts with a photo of the "Vulcaneers" at the first Erie Potluck Jamboree brought back fond memories.

Keep up the good work.

Paul

Why Thank You, Paul & Mastertech
I have tried several times (without posting too much in the way of nothingness) to catch up to the member count (which is now at 5899!!! ), but can never quite seem to catch that ever increasing amount!!

As for the Erie Potluck Jamboree, I've been hoping to get up to Erie to find a nice ride route for the next one, but was just layed-off
,
so it might be a little while until I can do that
But I am hoping to get another in the works sometime this year. We'll see.

Well, bigrepp, Now I do. Maybe I can get caught up to the member count now that I have plenty of free time!!!
As it turns out, seeing as I was the 7th person to join the group back in '04, I average just a hair under 3 posts/day.
But, if I'm laid off for 30 days, and can get 30 posts per day, I will catch up to the member count!!!! LOL

Thanks, Old Dog, but it does give me time to do some stuff I've put off for too long, so it's not all bad

I've been there and done that laid off thing, Hyper. Twice, in fact. May your new job search go well. At least you can sleep in for a while until you find some other job to support your motorcycling addiction. Good luck!

Congrats on the post count Hyper.

Sorry to hear of the layoff. Best of luck to you on the hunt. Enjoy the free time while you can.

It's like retirement, but without the monthly check! Congrats on the milestone.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Glad to hear that Hyper, really hate to see folks get laid off that really need to work... I've been retired since 92 and these winters are really rough with not hardly anything to do, but working folks that can stand it probably do appreciate a break or short lay off...
Enjoy....!!!
