Just want to say thanks...

She's gone...but not forgotten.

Picked up an 86' the winter before last...and started a-tinkering. Found you guys ( and gals), and with your help, rode her all last summer. My VN1500 had issues and wasn't road-able until last August. So I didn't really have a choice to begin with....but in the end I really fell in love with the 750. This year....the 1500's been my bike of choice...and the 750 tended to sit....kept her charged....and took her out once in a while.....but not like last year...and certainly not like she deserves. So she's got a new home....put her up on Craigslist...had a couple of lookers and tire-kickers...and one dude....who actually drove almost 50 miles to tell me my 22 year old "had some wear on her"...........duh!!!! LOL! Anywho....a friend of mine found out she was up for sale and grabbed her up. Charlie's gonna give her a good home. Showed him this site as well as the Yahoo group...and I sure you'll be hearing from him sooner or later.
What a great bunch-o-folks u all are....and a wealth of information too. From brakes (compression bleeding really works)...to splines (Honda Moly 60)....to R/R's ( yes.....it's re-located...now)....to tires ( Dunlop 404's both new)...to oil ( Ok....I know enough now to NOT even go there....lol)...and lots of other stuff you'all helped me with along the way...you guys are great.
Thanks again....keep an eye out for Charlie from Yaphank.....he's be strollling in soon...

As for the future.....I still love my 1500....and boy-o-boy....I can't keep my eye off that Concours 14..........or an FJR.....both real sweet. Lets see what Santa brings.....ya never know!!!

Be safe...ride smart....ride sober!!!!!

I attached the Craiglist photo....just for kicks......yeah she got some "wear"....but a lotta life left in her too.....!!!!
