What's it worth

What would the following bike be worth. I'm looking for members input rather than KBB or NADA value. Maybe a better question is how much would you pay (not how little would you want to pay) for this bike.

96 34K miles
Galfer SS lines (brake thorttle and clutch)
Avon Venom-X tires
Degoated, ear shaved, rejetted
Cobra pipes
New stator
New RR
New MF battery
Kuryakyn ISO pegs and Grips
Kuryakyn wide blade levers

Other details - has a glove box (and cover with a lock), everything is in damn good condition considering what it looked like 1 year ago, no real cosmetic issues, no rust, no leaks. Tags are current and title is clean and lien free.

Well, my highest offer (after a test ride) would probably be close to $2000.
But, if I were looking for a bike at this time, maybe a little higher.
With gas prices as they are, bikes are bringing in a really fair price.

I'd say 2500.

In no way is this a bid.

I have always used KBB as my MAX ever to pay out of pocket, but always try for somewhere between 3 to 5 hundred under KBB so yours even with all the aftermarket extras I couldnt bring myself to pay more than $2300.00 with KBB saying $2640.00 I am just cheap that way though. A lot of folks will pay the full $2600. So might as well ask for it when ready to sell. As just like the other two stated "this is not a bid"...lol

Peace

It's been my experience selling things to add 300 to whatever the price is you want. Can't count how many times it seems they want to drop the price by 500. Well, I can go 300.

Just a little info on the KBB...The KBB is overrated by the common public, because the Banks don't go by KBB. Since the banks don't use the KBB to determine the value of a vehicle purchase why should we. The bank uses the NADA to find the value of a vehicle, and yes i know that the NADA generaly undershoots, the prices by 500 to a grand compared to the KBB. but if you offer a price of lets say $2000 (middle of the road by KBB) but NADA says the bike is only worth $1500 max...the bank will only loan up to 1500 if you are lucky.

Just my $0.02 worth...

How much would I pay for this bike... nothing... it aint worth anything to me, because it is too nice of a bike for my wants and needs....

Exactly right on the banks Slim.

When I was looking at stealerships, they had an 06 Honda Shadow they were asking 6399. Since I had bought my last new quad from them, and they dropped the price to what I was asking for OTD, I asked what could they do.

They dropped to 5899. Call the bank, and she says the NADA is 5500. While the salesman is telling me their bikes are "flying out the door" the lady at our bank says that may be true, but there's not a bank out there that will loan more than the NADA value.
