Need a New Battery

I need a new (or fairly new) battery for an '88. I live in MD....anybody have one for sale?

Go to Sears and buy yourself the Powersport Gold maintenance free 14AHL-BS battery. You will need to add electrolyte (so easy) and slow charge it at no more than 2 amps. I just did this and my problems were solved. The battery cost about $85 and it's worth it. Please DO NOT buy a flooded battery like the stock one that comes with the bike. You can easily create more problems than it's worth.

I think it cost me around $64 total with shipping and about 3 days to get to me. AGM MF Battery.
Comes already charged. Just drop it in and go.

I'm not 100% convinced it's his battery, folks, so his mechanic now has his marching orders. Ramoan, check out the Vulcan Verses on the main Forum page - there's all kind of info there that'll better explain the whole stator/regulator/dead battery thing.
