can the helmet lock come off

Is there a way of taking the helmet locks off that in the back? If so, how?

Grace and Peace to you!

Unlock, then unscrew them.

I got some replacement rails with the locks still on. I just picked the locks for fun (hobby of mine), but you can just take a hacksaw to it to get access to the screw if you don't have the keys.

Really? Do you not have the matching key? Upon first read, this seems to be a strange question and that is why we ask for a little more information when people ask questions.

Actually just a good pull with a long screwdriver will break the lock and you can get to the screw. These are of course loctited excessively at the factory and you'll likely strip the screw head out anyway....so I'd go at it right off with an impact driver. My bike was only two years old and I still ended up drilling the [email protected]&$ing screw out to remove the lock....
