Question help with seat

Hello all a Quick Qustion here for some help.How would you make the seat go more to the back of the bike for two over sized people like me!!!! when my wife and i are on the bike i sit on the tank not much fun that way i would like to keep the stock seat but i have to do something so that the both of us can ride in comfort the little back rest is in the way from her sliding more to the back to give me more room thanks for any help is there any way to cut the back rest off and reweld it longer ? and add a little more seat to the prexicting seat ?............. gcgoff

I also have many web sights that show how to make fiberglass seat pans if you would like the links pm me. I am going to add the sights to my finished seat

There were pics somewhere on the net from a guy (I think in England) who made brackets to move the side rails/sissybar back, then made the passenger section of the seat longer.
I did a quick search, but haven't found them yet. But they're out there.....somewhere.

Thanks you all for your answers to my Question now at this point well just have to plan on trying some thing like slim is doing any thing to help get the driver off the tank and move the passanger back some
