New Vulcan 750 owner

Hello

I am a brand new user of this forum as well as a brand new owner of a 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. My first bike was a crotch rocket (I was younger...and dumber...) so unfortunately I do not have a lot of knowledge about cruiser style bikes. My Vulcan is completely stock and I wanted to make a post just to get opinions/suggestions from others on what I should start with or focus on as I upgrade/customize my bike.

Thank you for the input and the advice

Welcome...
A lot of great info is in the Verse's, read up to gain knowledge quickly.
After Verse's, you will know what questions to ask.

Be aware of your Splines, Battery, Stator and Rectifier.

Thanks for the help

Thank you for the references and I will definitely be reading a ton over the weekend. The guy I bought the bike from had a Clymer manual so I will be reading that and reviewing the links here....and I can already see I have a lot to learn

Doc, You're going to have to share pics of that duckling funhouse you keep speaking of .... your love of farm animals is a little creepy.

BTW ... welcome to the madness.
