The new Facebook

You know I think that the new facebook should be the vn750 forum. There are better conversation on it. Nobody slams on each other. If you make a mistake there are plenty of people to help you out.

On here you get precise information and you can search the information you forget.

So I will spend my time here and help others and be help!

Just sayin!

Grace and Peace to you!

People still use fakebook?
For truth in labeling, they should call it NSAbook.

I know people that have lost contact with family, just because they don't use Facebook. That's crazy! "Come to Facebook and like me!" lol

There are good and bad forums, have seen some really bad ones populated by people that couldn't walk down the street without getting their lights punched out.

Picked up a lot of good info here, a lot I might not have come up with otherwise. Any forum can get it's share of trolls, they still need an outlet for the stuff they dished out in grade school.

Glad you like it here! I do too. I've been here many years, it can get heated now and then but it's mostly just a nice place to come talk bikes.

I was waiting for the time when that statement would be true again

I don't post here much anymore, but I definitely love this forum. Great bunch of people here, most of the time!

Not having a bike doesn't give me that much to talk about on here though :-/

Kind of like comparing apples and oranges to me. I like the people on here for the most part anyway. Some ,I could care less if I ever heard anything from their small minds and big pie holes. No doubt there are those who feel the sAme about me and I'm fine with that too. One thing FB does have going for it is ,you can block the ones who are bent on being an a$$ on every topic you post .. Not so here. Some of the ones on here formed a vn750 owners group on FB. If they start crap on that page you can give em the boot from seeing your posts or commenting either.

It's a feature I use when needed but not often. I don't have to raise my hand and rat to a mod , I can take whatever action I deem necessary myself. I like that. The flip side is every thing you say is subjected to public scrutiny. On here it's kind of self contained in this small group which is a good thing too.

I like both but they aren't even comparable for what they actually are.
