Woohoo it is running

Well after 3 years of off and on tinkering with my bike I got it running today. It took a lot of prayer and a lot of patience but it ran. I joined the CMA the other day and I needed a bike. I went in and found that when I put the rubber boot on the lower cylinder for the carb it actually didn't go on the cylinder. Put it on today and turned it over.

It stunk with bad gas. I prayed that it would crank and it did. That is the 3rd motor that has had old or bad gas in it that cranked within it turning over 3 times.

Now to keep it running.

Grace and Peace!
Richard

Congrats! Great feeling, I know.

Maybe a dose of seafoam to keep the corn syrup flowing out with the gas?

I have a few small engines that are going to need RotoRooter this season.

I can't tell you the feeling it felt when it cranked. I tried to keep it running longer enough to heat the header part of the pipes so I could be sure both cylinders were firing but I couldn't. I have to rig up a external gas tank to continue to work on them.

Grace and Peace!
