1991 VN750

I've been looking for a second bike with low millage and just came back from checking out a 91 VN750 with "275" miles on her. I paid 1500 cash.

The original owner dropped the the bike braking the left side foot peg, clutch handle and placing a dink in the tank. He parked it in his garage and there it sat. The guy I bought it from cleaned up the gas tank, put two inline fuel filters on her and had the carbs rebuilt. The bike sounds awesome and shifts like butter.

I'm hoping not to have to do anything to this bike but ride it. It has a new battery. Did I do Good?

I need to pick her up in two weeks. I have a class three hitch on the back of my truck. I need to rent a trailer from uhaul.

I'm kinda fearful there will be some issues with seals or gaskets but I guess we will see.
I've had a VN900 for about three years and made some mods on her. I love that bike. For me, for so many reasons it's the perfect bike. The problem is I have around 25000 miles on her and I ride her in the rain, snow, you name it. I want to do some minor work on her. She needs a break.

I've been looking for almost two months and came across the 91. For me, the 750 was the perfect city and around town bike. I had a 95. I could go to the movies or short shopping trips. I'm keeping this bike stock. I'm sure there will be some issues. I've been looking at the Vulcan verses and am going to do some of the maintenance that's suggested. I just need to figure out how I'm going to get her. My buddy may be able to help. Otherwise, I'll get something from U-haul. It shouldn't be much. Oh, I don't have a place to keep her right now. I may have to drop her off at the dealership. They charge 35 a month for storage. This way I can get registration and insurance straight.

Mike, if you need an extra set of hands to go pick it up just give me a shout and maybe we can get our schedules in line so you can get her home. I wish you luck.

Hey brother that would be awesome. I think it will be fine though on the back of my truck. I'm going to store it at the dealership for now. My girl suggested the dealership.

You can help me with another VN750. It's rusted up. I can call you about it tomorrow. I'll send you a PM as I have a new phone and no longer have your number.

Hahaha, I'm in deep now. I hear flame decals make it go even faster.

I will send you my number via PM shortly. I just read about the other bike. You should have no problem now (except room) to get one bike in full running order and should be able to sell off some parts to cut the price on the other. I have someone in mind locally that may be interested in some items and that can help you if you are interested in going that route.
