cutting out when using clutch

Hi guys,

I've finally got my bike back on the road after 2 years of not being able to ride it.
After riding it for a few weeks it has now just started to cut out when I pull in the clutch and knock it to neutral, or when I go from neutral to 1st, it does'nt do it all of the time but its quite frequent.

has anybody got any ideas what it would be ?

Chris.

Sometimes just exercising the heck out of the switch does wonders as well.
