I really like the picture and the background is set in a professional manner but "Best Pic Ever." A really great picture for sure but not "best" in a general sense but I could be wrong and JMHO.

and always remember, "Ride until you rot!"

but having to face the fact that this is a lifetime routine
going forward. Five operations done and it still continues.

Needs some bikini clad southern belles to be the best pic ever. Especially you being in FL and no bikinis? Shame!!

But it is a nice pic anyway.

Being that I'm an obsessive enthusiast photographer, I would consider that photo a simple snapshot.

Part of the bike is cut off, and the overall composition is off.

Here's a couple of photos I did of my fiancee's bike last summer. Use of a medium to long telephoto lens helps to make the bike really stand out, and eliminate any distracting backgrounds.

Thank you for the kind words.

The camera used was a Nikon D7000 with a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 VC variable aperture lens.

The first photo was taken at around 210mm and the aperture wide open which at that particular focal length was reported as f/5.3.

The second photo was taken also at around 200mm and f/5.3.

To make the photo's even more interesting I rotated the camera a few degree's to give the perspective of the bike leaning in to a down hill position, and also adding some artificial vignetting (dark shadowed corners for our non photography people) to emphasis the bike more.

Also getting good light is very important. These photo's were taken late afternoon early evening about an hour to hour and a half before sunset. With the sun setting low it cast's a beautiful glow on the side of the motorcycle in the second shot which also adds to the "punch" of the photo.

Here's a similar shot I did with my Nikon D3100 and the same Tamron lens with my Suzuki Bandit 1200S which really show's the setting sun's "glow" on the side of the motorcycle.
