After the drop Continued....

Greetings fellow Vulcaneers! I managed to complete the re-jet of my bike, but when I fired her up I still had the mystery white smoke comingout of the left pipe, with the requisite raw fuel dripping as well. After some more research on here and some help from the wife, I did the old spark test and sure enough, there was no spark at the plug. What I didn't count on was tht the bike would actually fire. I had her hit the starter 3 different times real quick (just a tap and release) but not in close succession. Unfortunately for me, the bike decided it wanted to start. Got knocked off my stool by the blast of air/fuel mix from the rear cylinder shooting out of the empty plug hole. It wasn't really strong enough to blow me over (let's face it I'm a pretty big guy...) but it DID scare the piss out of me, and in the process of jumping out of the way I ended up flat on my arse... It's OK - you gusy can laugh cause after I shut the bike off (yeah - it continued to run on only one cylinder) I laughed at myself. So I've ordered a new coil from mama kaw and should have that by next week. In the meantime, I'll continue repairing the damage from the drop. I already reinstalled the left rear blinker and have new fronts that need to be mounted. So all that's left is to smooth out and repaint the rash on the speedo cover, replace the clutch lever, and remount the left mirror. Thanks again to everyone here who has contributed to my education on how to fix my baby! I appreciate the assist and look forward to returning the favor whenever possible.
