Painted my bike this weekend

I painted the fenders, gas tank, and a lot of the sun-faded plastic parts. I am still debating on wether I am going to paint the chrome plastic side plares or not but here is what it now looks like...

Nice job.

Good question on the side covers. If you keep the tank plain black (no added stripes or flames or ??) thenI think I would leave them chrome. If you decide to get fancy with the paint then you might want to paint them to match. Just my thoughts.

If you don't want to use the chrome side covers, I'll buy them. My left side was cracked 7 years ago when the bike fell over. Don't paint them unless you strip all the chrome off first.

IMHO - nice job on the paint but the chrome doesn't match - Give it a shave and wrap the headers with black tape.

Looking good, now it's your bike.

Loks very good. Nice work! For the side covers, I painted mine to match the bike. I sanded/scuffed the chrome first then primed then painted (my red takes a base coat and top coat. They came out pretty good.
