Double down shift into first and let the clutch out before you knew it? Really throws you forward.

Only happened to me the time I discovered they sometimes mix little bits of glass in the pavement and up close you can tell they were pop bottles.

Nope.....never did that.

Did downshift from 3rd to 2nd "too soon" on the Vulcan once.... Left a a short tire patch on the road....

Brother Bird....

Ever since I started ridin bikes in the 60s and drivin trucks in the 80s...I always used engine braking......and ya, sometimes ya get a lil nosedive/porpoise...but thats just because ya aint doin a lil braking at the same time.....this is the first bike Ive ever had with a disk brake...I always had a drim front or none at all....so usually braked with the rear...
I nosedive a lil more now than before, but thats due to the heavy glass fairing I have now....forks werent designed for that weight...
