Goat belly

I've been following several posts regarding removal of the "goat belly" instead of using the R/R relocating option. What is the "goat belly", where is it located, how can it be removed, and can someone post a how to link or some directions. I'm at a little bit of a loss being a new rider.

P.S. I'm sooooooo glad I found this site! Everyone is so helpful and patient when explaining stuff. Being a new rider, and my Kawi being my first bike, I feel like I've learned so much from you all. THANKS

At the top ot the pict is the Goat, Removing it is easy and ther is a couple of ways to do it.
The post above gives you aq good link to how.
It will make the bike louder as the Goat is a Pre Mufler.

Thanks guys. The first reply was totally thorough. At this time, being a relatively new rider, I think I'll leave the G/B and go with the relocate. Already ordered the kit. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks again
