Battery Question Again

OK guys, my dealer told me they don't make a maintenance free for my 2006 750 and he's looking at Yuaso (pardon spelling). Is he full of crap or not?
Thanks again
Wayne

Yes.

Look at the post under Electrical and get the model number. No need to get it through your Kawasaki dealer. The one I got at Sears had about a 1 inch plasitc base on it - stuck on with sticky tape. You have to remove the base to fit in the VN750 battery box. It just pulls off.

I am willing to bet that your dealer has very brown eyes.
Ask him if he is willing to bet on that statement, if he's wrong, he orders and pays for your battery.
Yuasa YTX14AHL-BS
He'll probably back track and say he MEANT.. HE didn't have a battery in stock for it

From Yuasa's site

Battery Search
YTX14AHL-BS

Kawasaki 700 ZN700-A LTD 1984 - 1985

Kawasaki 750 KZ750-F LTD, Spectre 1983

Kawasaki 750 VN750-A Vulcan 1986 - 2005

Ok, now hopefully your dealer at least knows that the only thing that changed was the color from about 1991 on

Yes, your local dealer is oooohhh soooo full of it!!!....

You should be able to get a Yuasa that fits your 750, just fine.

As stated earlier, see the Verses.....

I needed a battery asap so I went to Sears. I paid more for it, but I have always liked Sears batteries. I used a lead acid diehard for 7 years so I figure their AGM MF would be worth a try.
Sears was also the only dealer in town that had one to fit our VN's
