Video of VN700 Drag Racing!!!

You guys are going to love this...

I ride with a bunch of guys who have crotch rockets and they all wanted to go to Midnight Mayhem at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to drag race. So, long story short, I took my stock 1985 VN700 and competed in my first drag race. The guy who stepped up to race me was in a highly modified Honda Civic Si. I kicked his but! I know you all want to know the time and I don't have the official slip with me right now, however, it was around the low 15 seconds at around 90 MPH. I had someone taking a video of the whole thing which you should be able to access by way of the link below. Enjoy! -Adam

I can't access myspace from work, but I am not surprised. I'll try to remember to watch it at home. I always thought our bikes are pretty damn fast off the line.

Fun times eh? Got splines left on the track ;-0
Next time take your goat and tips off, and if you haven't shaved, pull your rubber boots from your carb intakes, and drop your plug temp down 2 notches and blow them out of the stands. Drags are fun.

The best time I have heard of from a 750 was in the 13's but there was some modifications, I would love to take mine and see what it would do.

GREAT !! -- Thats a 700 right ??
"Dirtrack650" Speaking of dropping the temps on the plugs what heat range is best for normal + riding on an 06 750 using NGKs, 7EAs or 8EAs ?? I thinnk mine has the DPR 8EA-9s in it and I think I may want to go with the DP 7EA-9s... Would that be best ??? Or would the high $$$ NGK Iridum TR 55iX be worth the extra $$$..??
Thanks and have a good one...Old Dog...
