Back to the ORIGINAL question (is it hijacking a post if the original poster changes the subject completely?)
But anyway... If you are going to a 110 tires then a GL1100 fender will give you more of a dresser style look.

My VN was a salvage case when purchased on eBay and needed a front fender. I used a Kawasaki Spectre 750 front fender - slightly larger, not much - as a replacement. Were you thinking of something like a Drifter fender?

I use Rotella T and am happy with it. If amsoil were in stores, I'd probably try it - but I don't wanna have to order amsoil to get it. Stupid distribution system if ya ask me...

Oh... and gotta add... We aren't blind. Go back to a normal size font...

She hasn't; she's got the Tour Pack fender, and you can't fit the 110 tire under it.

I'm about to, sometime this month. Requires a slight mod; you have to elongate the mounting holes in toward each other on each side about 1/8". I'll simply make new brackets to replace the stock 1100 'Wing ones. The fender itself is plastic.

And no, I don't have pics...yet.
