Imagine my surprise . . .

. . . when I went to get on my bike yesterday and noticed the heat shield on the right pipe wasn't there.

No idea how that happened, but I can only imagine through excessive vibration and a bad latch (i knew the latch was bad), it finally shook off mid ride.

Joke's on me I guess.

A few weeks back afriend and I took a trip to Castroville, and my right side shield kept dragging the road. I had to completely femove it and carry it home. The screw had worked loose on the front holder. I put it back with radiator hose clamps. Sorry you lost yours.

That thought had come up. But I don't know what I'd be getting into there.

I just put Cobra pipes on my bike - you can have the right shield if you want to pay shipping costs - how much can that be ? I hacked the left one to cover the rusty Manifold on the left side. Ostin.

OK guys how about this.
Some friend of mine drove for about 45 minutes feeling the bike somehow nimbler, and lighter, just better He guessed. But quickly noticed that it was because he left his 12 years old SON on the last gas station!!!
I mean, you can loose an entire muffler if you like and not feel bad about it if you consider its only a purchase away. I know that then HE and his bike got shakier than ever....
