This is just 16 miles a month since 1986

So here's one that I'm not sure I believe.

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/mcy/4443529851.html

I may have to go look at it just to see. I'd give him $12-$1300 for it if it is as he says. Looking at the shocks, they look pretty good and no one evr changes those and that's where you see a lot of rust on older bikes. Peeking under the seat is also a give away on age. HArd to keep that area clean.

My 1995 sportster was pristine in all the nooks and crannies. My 1995 vulcan was not.

Also I assume the weird looking black things sticking out in front of the engine is some strange highway bar setup.

LOL just noticed that! Maybe that's why it has so little miles on it cause they just ride it around the yard. I have to check NC on that. They have a pretty strict inspection thing going on.

Here's the answer from another forum- "I just got off the phone with Pat Rogers HD and with the NC highway patrol, Pat HD said that if they are on the bike they have to work if you don't have any at all they will pass you but they are required. NC hwy patrol told me that it IS stated in NC law you have to have them on any motor transportation built after 1953 but they do not issues tickets for not having them on a motorcycle. And thats straight from the NC hwy patrol officers mouth."

Just got this from the owner -"When I got it it had 1107 miles the guy bought it but hardly rode it. I had the turn signals but the rubber pieces are dry rotted"
