She's coming along!

Got a set of saddlebags from Jafrum last week. I'm very pleased with them so far. For $70, it was hard to find anything nicer!

Also, thanks to Deviate, I got a VN900 seat. MUCH classier look imo. It still has the gap between the seat and the tank but I don't really mind that too much. If I find later that I'd rather sit a fraction closer to the tank, I'll cut off the plastic seat tang and make a custom-fit one from steel.

Thinking about the EMGO mufflers...still trying to decide whether the sound is worth the $100 or not.

Fellow forum members, say hello to Liz!

Edit: Will post better pics once it stops raining.

Looks good. I have bags similar to those just in solid black with no studs on them.

Rode her to work today, first ride on the new seat. It has a bit of side to side play in the front. Shimming that up snug will be my #1 priority when I get a few extra minutes.

Just wrap a buncha electric tape around the front knob thingie.....that'll snug her up....if not, get some of that black foam pipe insulation, and stick it on the frame rails where the seat isnt quite touching it....thats what mah Bessie has....
