VN750s in SoCal Area

Hey guys,

Just wondering how much VN750s tend to go for in Southern California? I'm in a small town in Wisconsin, but I am moving out there in the fall for school. I have my '92 VN750 here, but I'd love to pick one up out there (I'll be there for a year) when I get off my flight.

If anyone on the forum has some insights, I'd appreciate it. Poor(ish) college kid trying to budget a motorcycle into my school costs for next year -who does that..?

OleDirtyDoc, I seriously considered it. The only issue is I don't have room for my stuff for college..

slimvulcanrider, I've been keeping a watch on the inland empire craiglists, and have a few pop up here and there. Just not sure what they are actually selling for!

Here are two bikes in SoCal that were bought with in the past couple of weeks

https://www.vn750.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51738

Here locally I know of 4 for sale.. one is 300 bucks, needs a stator, one is $2,000 has POOGS, another is $1200 with a msutang seat and KF&S Floorboards and a Windshield. while the last one is a bone stock '86 with 90K on the clock for $6,000... so what I am saying is the prices will be all over the the place, and some might be a deal, while others you walk away from... Personally I would just ride the '92 you already have and not try to buy some one else headache.

Yeah, good call on the fact that prices are probably going to bounce all over the place.

Thanks for the links, good insight.
