Horn Refurbish

I was too cheap to by new horns so I took 2 hrs some sand paper, Dupi Color Black Rotor paint, tape, chrome polish, rags and a little bit of elbow grease and this is what I came up with.

Do they work ok? If not, I have Stebel Nautilus horns on McKnight - holy cannoli is that a sound!!!! Wow!! Even my Honda Accord doesn't put out a noise like that.
