Lowering and Your Kickstand

This question goes to all who have lowered their beloved Vulcan's. What have you done with the problem of the kickstand? I have read about pulling on to a board to make the center stand easier, but nothing about the side stand. Thank you for your input.

on mine after I lowered it I put it on the side stand and marked the foot of the stand with a marker and then ground it down tho the mark and it works great.

No you don't have to grind that much.Your actually grinding more off of the inside of the foot to nothing on the outside(nub part of foot).
