1994 vn shift linkage.

I seem to recall reading on the site about later model VN bikes having an improved internal gear shift linkage, is that correct? I may have another Kawasaki in the shed soon.

Garage
yes!
I forget the details, but the beefier linkage was added to newer years.

I am sure someone will have details and part numbers and post them soon.

I don't recall the exact year they switched over to the thicker shift rod, but I usually look up parts for my biker under the 2000 year model and its available there.
the part number from CheapCycleParts is: ROD-ASSY-TIE 39110-1073
