Vance and Hines

I don't know if loud pipes save lives, but they sure scare deer .
while out on a ride today ran into a few deer out on a country road
and man did they scatter, they stopped in their tracks and turned around . So maybe its a good thing .Just use ear protection LOL.

That's not the first time those pipes ran deer off. I came upon 3 deer in the road one morning last fall just saring at me. I honked my horn which did nothing then I cracked the throttle and they were out of sight in a few seconds. How you liking them by the way?

Hey Woody,I really like them around town, they are certainly noticed due to the sound.I have other bikes so I stay off the freeway for lengthy rides.
But I guess ear protection would could change that .And for sure they
look great, It was a fantastic addition to my Vulcan.I Would not go back to
stock exhaust unless the laws change LOL.

Got V&H on mine (06) and it runs great, sounds better. On long runs, I wear a full helmet, just around town I wear a pan. Works good. Have gotten some strong gazes from the cops, but no bubble stops so far. And I am about sure that it increases HP a little.
