What type of coolant can I use in my bike? Can I use regular car collant???

Any coolant you use should be silicant free and approved for aluminum engines. This rules out some of the automotive coolants.
See thefollowing from the Vulcan Verses

DexCool is popular coolant and most tend to go for the pre-mixed also. Just pour, burp and go then.

Anytime you do change your coolant be sure and "bleed" the system otherwise you run hot.
There is a small bleeder valve up near the top of the radiator.

ahh cool i just had a scare. Yesterday I picked up my bike from my buddies house and he said that he filled the coolant in it. He used regular antifreez that is safe for aluminum and other metal componet engines.
