Fabricating forward controls

I know this has been discussed before on here but I'm getting together with a friend of mine who has fabricated forward controls for other bikes and is willing to help fabricate ones for my vulcan.I wanted to get some input from you guys as far as design,(looks, sizes, anything)We are making my set out of heavy aluminium so I can polish them.Any suggestions would be great guys.

I have jardine Foward Controls as well and I love them, but I would love something more that goes out as far as the Jardine's just not as high.......

Same here - Love my Jardines and would never go back to anything else unless they come out with a lower design...

I think the hardest part will be making the shifter and the brake extended to fit the forward controles.
Might need to make a hinge system.
