Talking Woo Hoo !

Fired her up for the first time in three months. Jersey is warming up a bit. 50 deg today, better than 10 a few weeks ago. Went out for a spin, about a half hour. Oh did that feel goooooood !

I'm definatly putting my stator/frame mod project on the top of the things to do list now !!

It would be nice to get out for a ride, but they are still calling for some more snow in a few daze here, so I should have it done before the warmer weather is here to stay !!

Don't wait too long or it will be warm and you'll still have the stator to install.

Well, although the guy that did the frame mod a the Y! site seems to have had some experiance at it already, he said he did it in a day, with the stator change too (and NO motor pull!). So I figure I should have little trouble in getting it done in a weekend.

I need my stator replaced. I'm not ready to tackle that myself. Time/Experience. I'm taking it in this week to a local shop. Till then I've run a pair of 12 guage wires to a set of marine power posts in the left saddlebag. I can jump/charge the battery there. Also keep one of those little jump start pack with me and only go for short ones for now. Upper 60's here today!
