Referrals for shops in Phoenix

This past weekend, my wife and I picked up a 1991 VN750. I want to take it to a local shop to have a full inspection and maintenance done before riding it, as the bike was in storage for a long time. As this is my first metric bike, I am unfamiliar with the reputations of the local Kawasaki repair shops and dealerships in the Phoenix, AZ area. Can anyone give me a referral to a local shop that they have had good success with, or alternatively, one to avoid?

Hey there Cliff, sorry I can't be of help as far as a reputable shop in your area, but I can suggest checking out the Vulcan Verses. All kinds of great, helpful info on the VN750 there.
Any questions ya got about the bike, this is the place to be.

Two of the more common areas of concern with the bike are the rear splines being lubed, and keeping up with oil changes to help avoid a fried stator.

Is your Vulcan stock, or are there any modifications that you're aware of?

Oh, yeah, and welcome to the Wonderful World of Vulcan !!
