2006 VN750 For Sale

I have a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 FOR SALE with 5,700 miles on it. This bike is in mint like new condition, always kept in garage. It has a windshield, chrome engine guard, extended sissy bar, chrome luggage rack, leather saddlebags, New Yuasa Maintenance Free battery installed at 5,000 miles. All service work done on schedule. I change oil and filter as soon as oil looks dirty, so far it has had 5 oil & filter changes, last one done at 5,500 miles. I just like having clean looking oil in the engine. I also use 93 octane fuel and add a few ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil at each tank fill up. This keeps fuel system super clean and carbs running perfect. This bike has run perfect since new, never had any problems whatsoever. Now that the VN750 is out of production this is as close to a new one as you can get. I think you might be sitting on that for awhile. I paid less than that when I bought my 06 new. I know its the last model year, but I doubt it will ever be a collectors item that would warrant that much money. But good luck selling it.

I to think it's a little high, problem is excessories do not raise the value much considering what they cost NADA value is 5677 average retail, but gas is soon to hit 3.00 a gallon so who knows, you might get 6200 for it.

Also.. running the higher octane gas really didn't add anything except excess fuel that wasn't burned off as designed. Our bikes are engineered to run on regular 87 octane. The marvel oil probably helped keep it clean though.

Best bet on selling a bike.. get it to stock and sell accessories seperate.
Tis coming up on prime riding season though.. hopefully we will sell the Goldwing we have for sale...

This is so true. Friend of mine selling is softtail, 100 anniversary addition with LOADS of extras. 9K miles on it and he is asking 16,500 for it. He bought it for 17 and has over 10 in it. Told him the same thing, pull off the accessories and sell them separately. You can buy a brand new 07, 1580cc FI 6 speed for 18, why spend 16.5 on yours?

I am selling the bike because I think I want to move up to a little bigger Kawasaki bike. I will stick with Kawasaki on the next bike, I like their product, Brand Loyalty. The 750 I have does run great, and at times I get a second thought feeling, telling me that I have a great bike with no problems and it takes me anywhere I want to go just as fast as legal speed limits allow. Anyone out there ever go through this soul seaching , where you want to sell the bike and get something bigger, then also have the feeling that I don't want to sell it after all. Sometimes I feel like I hope nobody wants to buy it so I can keep it. Anybody out there go through this??

I really like the riding position of our Vulcan's. I do not know if there is another NEW bike made today with a similar riding position. They are mostly that boring cruiser style (to me anyway). HD softtail custom is close, but over $ 19K.

The small tank and high rpm's at 80 mph would be the only things that could put me into another bike.

Yep, I had my '94 VN750 for almost 13 yrs, and it was a great, trouble-free ride, never had any serious problems with it. But, I've been wanting to take longer touring cruises, so I wanted more power. I still miss my VN750, but the new '06 VN1600 Classic is proving to be a totally awesome ride, and really handles well, very nimble for a fairly heavy bike, I've gotten really comfortable on it now.
