Forward Controls

Hello.
First, thanks to everybody who has posted some really great info/mods/howto's on this site. I have a 2002 vn750 with a OEM Kawi engine guard on it. Will I have any problems in putting on the Jardine Forward Controls with that guard in place? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

With more than a couple people mentioning that even with the stock controls, their foot hits the guard on the shifter side, I'm guessing with forwards it might be even more of a problem.
But seeing as I don't have either, like I said, that's just a guess.

This month I'll have my forward controls put on and I'm taking everything else off for cleaner look. Just can't see anyway you can have a crash bar in place with the forward controls.
