'04 vs '05 750s

Besides different colors on certain parts (like the gas tank), are there any other real differences, mechanical or electrical, between an '04 vs an '05 VN750???....

So then I'm good if get an '04 repair manual (say, OEM or Clymer)....or should I "hold out" for an '05 manual, for some reason???.....

You could even get a '91 manual and everything should be just about the same.
So, Yes, you can go for the '04 one and be good to go.

There ain't one. Kawi stopped production of the VN750 in '06.
Unless ya ask a previous member who tried to B.S. us saying he worked at the Kawi plant in Lincoln, Nebraska and was given an '07 instead of a Christmas bonus. Needless to say, he's no longer a member here due to his idea of having fun at others expense.

I can't claim credit for it, I believe it was compiled by someone from the Yahoo site.
Some of the info needs updated, but it's a pretty good idea of what's what with the different years.
