Sound is hard to describe. Definitely a twin. Big bike event in the area this weekend so loads of bikes everywhere. Rode with a brand new 07' HD softtail custom, 1600, 6 speed and a Suzuki (large twin) something or another with aftermarket pipes, and passed 100's of other bikes. The sound is somewhere in the middle of a stock big twin, and a big twin with pipes.

If someone can host an movie file, I'll take some video and post it for all to hear. Probably mount the camera on a tripod and ride by it.

I REALLY like the sound, but way too much backfire right now because the pilot jets are too small, have larger ones (42's) on order. Found a rule of thumb that said go up one pilot for every three main. So went up 8 & 10 on the main's and only one on the pilot, may even try 45 pilots too.

But overall, very happy, runs way better than it did when it was just degoated.

Thanks all for the support throughout this project.

Looks Great Jon, You have me thinking about an ear shave as well. Did you get a kit to do the shave with??

Nice ride you got there........

No, no kit, just ordered a bunch of discrete parts and put it together. I can let you know what I got if you are interested.

Hardest part was the breather and I still don't have it just the way I want it yet. Need to elevate it some so that the oil vapor when it condensates runs back into the engine, now I get a drip or two off the breather element.

Still playing with the jetting, but very close now.

That would be cool in case I decide to go that route. I've still got some work to do before I get to that point. But it won't be long. I'll get her cranked back up in about a month.
