Apologies if my Q is too vague..

What I'm after is a frm record of my bike ( I'm in the Far East ) and to establish whether it is a cobbled together fake.

I know 3/8 ths of fuc.k all about bikes so just push me in the right direction.

Thx

The frame # might be more help. On the back cover of the Vulcan service manual is a list of VIN #'s for each year.
If the engine # should be the same as the frame #, the number you give isn't listed.
It shows European Vulcans starting with VN750A-002501 (1986)

OK thanks so far...Frame No is VN750A-001147.
The bike was brought into Thailand 11 years ago.
It surely has a chequered history and I'm paying thro the nose for it.
