yeah, this is the replacement for the concours.

I'm not sure that Kawasaki is making smart marketing decisions...but what do I know.

Great video.

Not quite sure of the riding position, but a sweet ride.

Same engine as the ZX14?

yea, same engine, but it's tuned differently. The variable valves, timing, fuel injection mapping, etc. are all different so that more power is available on the low end of the rpm range.

Still want to see them make a cruiser with this kind of engine. Something like the Honda Magna or Yamaha V-Max, love to have a v65 or a v-max too!

Yea, I'd like to see a cruiser or standard on the market with something (anything) other than a v-twin in it.

I know that v-twin is what's popular and it's what sells motorcycles, but I still think honda was nuts to discontinue the Magna model with the V4 800 engine. (which, if you are wondering, is the VFR interceptor engine minus the VVT)

I know, but the 1100cc v65 was incredible. I rode one, too fast to describe. It was just too old and had too many miles to buy. Stopped making parts for it a while ago.

Guy I work with has a VF700 v45 Magna, we trade rides all the time. Boy is that thing smooth and fast.
