Talking I did it!

I successfully completed the MSF Basic Rider Course today! Now all I need is a Vulcan and I'll be cruising around Buffalo in the spring.

...Provided they've finished cleaning up the downed trees and telephone poles by then, anyway.

Why can't you ride it now? What, did you have a storm? A little rain never hurt...

The weather was weird this weekend -- we got all that snow Thursday night till about Friday morning, then a bit of rain later in the day... The class was changed to Saturday/Sunday, and by the time we had to ride, the course was perfectly dry and it was sunny out. I only had to deal with a little bit of chill!

(I'll post some photos of the carnage once power is restored)

lol sounds like fun. mine was in the cold too, but for me my cold was mid 40's in the morning, and it got to mid 60's by the time we left. so anyway y wait for the downed trees. you can always drive around them. he he... just be careful alot of leaves that are wet can make it seem like driving on ice

If the power is out, how are you...?

I forgot that Buffalo doesn't have normal seasons. But then, it is October. In normal years (not global warming years), it should snow in October. It is supposed to be in the 80's here Wednesday, so we don't have regular seasons either.
