Orthopedic Surgery, anyone?

Because of the prodding of my follower(s), I have now changed this poll once again to reflect a more specific quest; the quest to find the relationship between motorcycles and their riders.

Drilled baffles
$65 leather saddle bags
Kuryaken grips
relocated R/R
de-badged

yep, right knee ACL (84), Right shoulder Bankhart Repair (96), L shoulder debridement (96), Right shoulder Bankhart Repair (06), Right knee removed all the scar tissue from original surgery (06), Bilateral carpal tunnell (sp?) (03),

scheduled L shoulder Bankhart Repair (spring, 07), L knee meniscus repair and cleaning out under knee cap (arthritic) (fall, 06)

ten years from now: Replace R knee joint.

I saw a doctor in Germany a couple of years ago who spoke less English than I did German, but I understood every word of his statement, "so young, so kaput!"

My orthopeadic surgeon will be able to send his kids to college from all the repairs on me. (4 in one year)

Nope, they just removed down to the first knuckle on the middle two and stiched the index & pinky tips back together.
I have no doubts that they could've put the 'removed' ones back on. Even if I had no feeling or use of just the ends, they'd still be more useful than nothing at all. And gloves would fit sooo much better !!!
I figured the Doc was just late for his tee time, and just wanted to get outta there !!

surgery & bikes

Surgery and bikes???
I don't know of any relationship between the two, but I love one and hate the other.

Been carved on 9 different times--at least that's the count my wife gives. I can't recall myself.
And ortho-something surgery a couple (or few) times in my mouth.

That's the one I hate.
The other one, the bike, I love. Although if I don't get this electrical nightmare figured out on this VN750, I'll start hating that one too.

Ortho is bone or joint. Oral is the mouth.
