PO had put Vance and Hines on bike before I bought. Too loud for me so I repacked & eventually got their extra slip in baffles. Happy with it now.

No, thats wrong. Its because the raw velocity energy in their exhaust provides some downforce/thrust. It has absolutely nothing to do with "backpressure".
