Does anyone know if the guages come apart? I want to get the bodies rechromed.

Blessings!

The bottone are removable, but the top parts are not. Most just tape off the glass and paint them when they start to look bad.

I'm pretty sure the chrome part is plastic. They do come apart, there is one screw in the bottom that holds them together. They cannot be rechromed, if the chrome is bad, you can sand and paint them. They can be replaced, they are about $25 apiece, which is cheaper than having metal rechromed.

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.
