Just a couple words............

Of THANKS to all that have contributed, one way or the other, in the carb. section on this forum.
After doing alot of reading on here,i finally decided it was time to get my bike ready for riding season. i bought it at about the end of riding season last fall and knew it wasn't running right.
I took the carbs. off ,cleaned them(one of the pilot jets was plugged),took the caps off the mixture screws and opened them up, resync'ed and runs like a rocket now and idles quite smooth. T H A N K S T O A L L

It's amazing what clean carbs can do.

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.

Glad to hear your bike is running good. A stock bike with clean and well adjusted carbs is a strong runner.
