solenoid

Can anyone tell me how to aquire a very inexpensive solenoid so I can use the starter button, jumping the solenoid is getting old fast.

Try Advance Auto or Auto Zone. I was able to get a generic one for my Honda Nighthawk there.

Yeah. Pull yours and go to a local auto parts store. You shouldn't have much trouble finding an equivialent.

I finally realized that one of the smaller post on the solenoid is a ground lug. The other smaller one is the low voltage that goes to the trigger. Then as soon as I realized that my brain got in the way and removed it I figured out this was an oversized relay. Went out to my dead riding lawn mower and pulled its solenoid. Now I got a working solenoid until I get this bike running.
