Wink I ride

I found the curviest road closet to me in Pasadena, CA. Sweet was the smile on my face. Now if I had a BT in my helmet to go along with the iPhone in my pocket. I could real play some toons (tunes).

There are many thousands of miles of curvy roads in the northern part of my state, and I have ridden them all many times. It's really nice to be able to go out and ride some nice roads for a whole day (or two) and not get that far from home. I have found a few cheap places to stay, so I can stay up there overnight once in a while without breaking the bank.

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.

It was 30f on my 47 mile ride to work this morning....

But it's supposed to be 65 on the way home.

Oh, I suggest the CARDO system BT.

Nice day here for the last day of Jan., so I had to take me a lil ride in the almost 65* afternoon... Not an extra long ride, only 88 mi. but all 2 lane winding roads with hardly any traffic, boy did I love it... Winchester Tn. thru Lynchburg and on down 129 to Petersburg, and back the same route... Very refreshing, even if I did have to put on the LJs & chaps......
I was goin to put the map & route up but I could only get it to mark streight lines from point to point, for some reason it wouldn't follow the road, but I did...lol...
Ah, ha, I think I figured out how I used to post the route link from Delorme Map Share, darn CRS...lol...
Not the best road in the world, but a darn good one for me as it is at home and hardly no traffic, and yes there are better (cage) roads you can take, but not for me on the bike...lol...

New Cardo System

I just invested in the Cardo system...just unpacked it and charged it up today, and I'm sure I don't know anything else to do with it yet...seems pretty complex and probably does a lot of wonderful things if I know which buttons to push!
It will all come in time, I suppose, but how is it as a plain old cut and dried communicator? I could use any and all input, thanks!

They make several systems, which do you have? We had the "Teamset"... Which means we had two, one for each helmet.

You can only "communicate" with others that have the same CARDO headset.

Alone, it worked quite well with my Zumo GPS and phone. I'd call my wife and see was completely surprised I was not only on my bike, but going 75mph.

The ones that come with a radio ... The radio is kinda sucky. Other than that very good reviews.

If you are just using it to listen to music on your phone, it's not bad... But giving up the ability to talk on the phone...you are better off with a good set of noise canceling earphones if your picky about audio quality....
