94 vn750 bobber build

So I picked up this semi-complete vn750 bobber project for $450. 16k miles. Clean Fl title too!

The guy works at a HD dealership and was riding it back and forth until he bought a slightly used HD bike. Tank was rusty inside so he did a flip cut to sand blast the inside.

When i first brought it to the shop:

Did some welding/brazing on the tank, epoxy primed it, filled it, sealed it, and then KBS tank sealed the inside.

The rear had been chopped and hard-tailed with bars for struts... not my style:

So I cut that mess out and added new tubes:

I tig welded up some exhaust, tubes aren't cut to length yet.

I've earshaved it, coastered it, 142 mains, 42 pilots, and all "non-essential" wiring was removed.

Seat is still not in it's final spot.... I made provisions to be able to adjust it. I've also made a custom battery box, and an under seat storage compartment. Trailer fender from TSC helped out a bunch.
