Post Lay-Down fix-it question...

I'm now in the finishing stages of putting my '95 back on the road. Is there a reset for the bike following being laid-down? Where is the Starter Lock-Out Switch? Any HELP! would be greatly appreciated.

Not aware of any such thing. If the bike was on it's side for awhile I'd check the airbox for oil or fuel, but there is no "reset" proceedure.

Yup, as KM says there is no reset switch, but there are a few safety lockout switches. Clutch, sidestand, neutral and the engine RUN/OFF toggle switch.

OH and welcome to the Vulcan madness!

After my wreck, my bike laid on it's side on the roll back til the guy brought it to my house the next morning. No problems with any resets, pushed the button and she fired right up.

The problem I'm having is NO spark. Before my accident, I removed the side stand switch as well as the "Starter Lock-out Switch". After my wreck, the bike was still powered up. The right hand (Kill Switch/Start Button) control box was busted. I have checked the continuity on both Run/Kill switch and the start button. Both check out. The "Starter Lock-out Switch" (really the clutch switch) checks out, as well as, the side-stand switch. I'm really at a loss here. I've been jumpin' the bike through the starter relay. Starter works, gas is pumping, lights (minus the headlight) are on, bike's in neutral, NO SPARK! UUUURRRRRRGGGGG! I've spent 10 hours today trouble shooting it. ANY suggestions will be gladly welcome!!!!

Are you getting power to your ignition coils? are all of your fuses good? kind of a dumb question i suppose but are the plug wires still good? they may have been ground up after the lay down...
