2006 VN750 service manual

hello - I just bought a 2006 Vulcan 750 (my first bike). I have been searching for a service manual. I have found a few (of the same) in different spots - the Kawasaki VN750 Twin Service manual.

What confuses me is on page 3 - they all list the years from 1984 to 2000 (skips a few) and shows "ED 14 - Dec 25, 2000".

So I don't understand how this manual can support the 2006 model vn750 unless nothing changed in the 6 years after it was written.

Just looking for your thoughts.

Thanks

Jeff

Yeah, you got it. The bike didn't change much at all over the entire run of production.

Really about the only change other than paint schemes was early on it went from a rectangular front brake resivoir to a round one.

It doesn't; they went by the way around '88, '89, IIRC. You're prolly better off in the long run; they sometimes worked, and usually didn't, once the bike got some age on it.

oh ok - that would explain it

thanks again.

Being a first time owner - I'm getting surprised at how much money I could think about spending for this thing (saddle bags, windshield, nicer helmet, maybe new pipes, maybe new seat, etc.)
