Thinking about getting this headlight.

I put LED turn signals on my Vulcan but they don't support running lights. So I was thinking about picking this up to add running lights back on the bike. Just wondering if you think it will fit as a replacement headlight... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Demon...Q5fAccessories

Wow that's pretty sweet lookin'. So are you going to mount running lights where your original signals go? Its a great idea. Should fit without a problem as long as the diameter is the same. The casing doesn't look any bigger. Post pictures if you do it. I'd love to see.

Diameter is important, but in the case of the Vulcan , so is depth. A few have found that the stock bucket was too shallow for some aftermarket headlight reflectors.

I think Dianna used a headlight shell from another bike as the stock one was not deep enough for the reflector she bought.

I have LED turn signals that I put on where the stock ones were. They however don't support running lights so I would use the lights on the headlight for the runners.

Ok I understand now (takes a while). I was thinking you were talking "auxilary" lights. Musta not been awake enough on the 1st post. Anyway, I hope the measurements work cause it's a cool idea.

Just an FYI. What I did was get LED replacement boards from custom dynamics that are white for my front TS. I moved them down to the forks using the memphis shade relocation brackets. Also replaced the amber covers with clear ones.

They are super bright driving lights, and still function as TS

I will take a pic later today and post it here

I also don't think they will show up when the headlights on. Hopefully I'm wrong for your sake. Kind of expensive too. Hope you like them.

Yes they will show up fine.... As long as they are not too close to the headlight (even so...you still have more light visable..)
