Vn-1500

Pulled a coworkers VN-1500 apart last night to fix a nasty oil leak on the front cylinder. It was a cam cover gasket misplaced at the factory. Not sure why it took 15 yrs to start leaking but it did. He wants to pay me but im not sure what to charge him. I told him I was cheaper than a real bike mechanic. I think this is a 500 dollar job but I would expect no where near that. I almost had this bike for $500 in the beginning of the year due to his frustrations with it.
