Spline is nice and lubed...

Well today was a good day for the Vulcan! Have had it for about a month and a half and I finally did the spline lube and got a new front tire( Me880, to match the rear!). The shop did a great job and through in a little tune up no charge.

If anyone is wondering what a shop charged for it, the total was $219.00 for the spline lube and front tire w/ instillation. Didnt seem like too bad of a price to me.

Sounds right to me !....its great when you know your splines are in good shape.

Did they pull the big circlip and cover off the wheel hub to clean the rubber drive damper and lube the edge of the cover, and wheel drive splines/final drive connection too?
